Among Equals Saiyore Two Needle Bilum Clutch

• The Limited-Edition Craft Series brings together the weavers’ most loved patterns and palettes, thoughtfully handcrafted in small editions. Each design is a unique work of art, created in a limited series of 10 pieces by a collective of 15 weavers – this collaboration has helped us connect to an additional 100 women living near Goroka in Papua New Guinea. Working in this way provides meaningful and sustainable income to support the women and their communities.
• The 2 Needle Design tells the story of two orphans, a brother and sister. The brother told his sister to go and spy on the village women to see how they weave. The sister did just that and taught herself the craft of Bilum.
• This Bilum is handwoven from wool and acrylic yarn using traditional weaving techniques.
• This clutch is lined and features a frame closure and internal pocket.
