The Market Baskets are genuine, French-inspired baskets imported from Morocco. Each basket is handwoven from palm leaves. The Market Basket handles are made from genuine Moroccan leather which are sewn on by hand. Our non-leather handles are made from firmly woven sisal rope. sizing will vary slightly, but it means the basket you get is unique and made with love and care. All baskets are eco-friendly, sustainable and very strong. 

A medium to large classic handwoven French market basket with short plaited leather handles in naturally oiled brown leather.  Can be held in your hands as an everyday basket. 

Most popular as a beach basket or shopping basket and a great alternative to the shopping bag as it is like a straw basket or a wicker basket but woven from palm leaves so very strong and sustainable.
